I believe its obtainable AND STILL enjoy reality. I maxed 20, did it at just 1 years time. And I still enjoyed my real life of the outdoors, job, gardening, family and friends, all the things I have always done. Even succeeded in making a crouched king size bed spread for my sons wedding gift. So yea, you can succeed in it and still have a real life.

Of course the whole "you got no life" put down is mute. Its a mater of focused play versus unfocused play. A lot of these guys who spout that have more hours in this game logged than a GWAMM and r12 combined.

The problem is the first 26/27 (depending on having Survivor/LDoA) are the fun ones to achieve. It's at the last titles that the grind kicks in. Be it grinding for money for the Sweet/Booze/Party title, or running Chests/Id-ing golds, or HFFF for Kurzick/Luxon.... it's still doing the same thing over and over and over and over if you want to max those titles without spending too much time on them.
Luckily the title update will enable us to grind a bit less, at least where Treasure Hunter is involved. I can now happily play characters other than my main toon and still work on my TH title.
Still, I've been at 26 titles for over a year now ^^

Thousands of players have had GWAMM for months now. The first GWAMMs came out over a year ago. Anyone who wants this idiotic title and can stand to put in the hours can have it by GW2.

Title is very doable in a year, just got to make sure u stay focused on the prize.
Now for me to get r8 hero b4 gw2, that might be iffy.

Why would you do that when you can bot Kurzick FF? Ohhhhhhhh snap!
Okay, but seriously, there are 29 really easy titles to get (+1 for survivor, so 30...). The time/money consuming ones end up being:
Kurzick/Luxon
Treasure Hunter & Wisdom----> With these titles becoming account-wide, it should get easier
Lucky/Unlucky
PvP Titles (lawl)
Zaishen Title
Those listed above are IF you don't do them on a new character on which you have survivor. If you do GWAMM on a survivor character, it's stupidly easy, because then you don't have to do any of the real tricky titles. Then all you need is money for the consumable ones, which just comes from getting the other titles, and playing the game normally.
It took me about 4-5 months to get GWAMM, and that was going at a fairly relaxed pace. I had my cartographer titles almost complete just from playing the game in previous years, and when HM came out, me and my guildies did some vanq-ing and missions for fun, so when I decided I wanted GWAMM, I really only needed 15 titles. I got the 3 consumable ones (party/booze/sweet) in two weeks because I had a pile of money sitting around, and after that I just had to convince myself to do vanquishing, and lots of HM dungeons and HM DoA to up my LB and other rep titles .
